Occupational Therapist and Advanced SI Practitioner
Becky Matson
Becky Matson is a lecturer in occupational therapy at the University of Liverpool and an advanced sensory integration practitioner.
Becky has worked clinically in a range of adult mental health settings and has served as a clinical lead occupational therapist for eating disorders and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
Becky's book "An Occupational Therapist's Guide to Sensory Integration And Adult Mental Health' is due to be published in October 2025.
Occupational Therapist and Advanced SI Practitioner
Leanne Duggan
Leanne began her career in adult mental health in 2009 and is a Senior Occupational Therapist and Advanced Sensory Integration Practitioner from Cork, Ireland. She is currently working with the Mental Health Services for Older People. A significant part of her professional role is offering a sensory lens with which to work with clients accessing the service. Leanne has a particular interest in using sensory-based approaches with clients with a diagnosis of Dementia. She offers input in both inpatient and community services as part of her role. Leanne is also a marker with Sensory Integration Education, as well as co-lead of the Mental Health Special Interest Group.
